Kirby - bla. Bryan Suits is a far more interesting and almost-independant conservative

John Procaccino - He is OK - but is starting to grow old. He seemed a lot like a Dave Ross at first - but he's sounding more like Frank Shiers as of late. Wait - maybe that was Frank Shiers.

Speaking of Frank - at what time in the greatest nation on god's green earth does he ever sleep?

I've heard him in the morning, in the evening and in my dreams. We seriously need to frame him for insurance fraud.

Andrew

Ya with those wierd hours Frank Shiers works he couldn't possibly have anything else going on in his life. Maybe he just sleeps in his car in the parking lot and when they need fill talk they go down and tap on his window to wake him up.

Critter

Kirby Wilbur: A gentle soul, a good Christian man who isn't rude to callers and never hangs up on anyone, and I'm sure he would be the first to throw his coat across a mud puddle for a lady to cross the street. But who told this guy he has a voice for talk radio? I can understand a word he says.

I keep adjusting the dial on my radio to bring him in more clearly...it doesn't work. I'm convinced, now, that he eats his breakfast at his desk, while talking...oatmeal, apparently.

Lou Pate: He may be a hunk, but what good does that do his listeners who can't see him? Send him off to do a shoot for Playgirl and give us somebody who isn't rude and obnoxious and doesn't knock Seattle and the people who choose to live here.

Fred

Excellent recap Michael! You are hitting very close on each host. When I hear Carl on with Dave, it is some of the best radio ever. Carl needs a keeper to keep him in line and cut him off regularly and he would be great.
I don't see Turi or Prochachino making the cut, but there is some potential.

On the dark side, two of the best talkers who use to be. Bryan Suits (when he was on KIRO) and Dori (prior to 9/11) were really great even if you did not agree with thier politics. Something happened and Dori became a Hannity sound alike and Bryan became an all military talk all the time. Such a waste

Jon

Dori can obviously be bought. It would not surprise me if he was paid off by the Bushies to spout their talking points on one of the biggest stations in the Northwest.

sparky

There would have to be some kind of home improvement in it for him to do so, though.

Lola

That is so weird--I noticed that change in Monson after 9/11 as well. I thought I was the only one. Never liked him that much, but he became unbearable after that.

I admit to a soft spot for Erin, I can't help it. Jeffers is great, and I would take Suits over Carlson any day, although all those right-wingers are intolerable to me after about ten minutes. I too find Medved kind of endearing/annoying/smart/idiotic. That John P. guy is too dull. I miss Prell.

G-man

Yeah Monson can be bought, for sure! He's proven it: He BY FAR gets most of the commercial spots on KIRO! He's an absolute radio whore! I completely eschew any sponsor that guy hawks for...!
