UPDATE: BJ fires double r?

WEDNESDAY UPDATE:  DOUBLE R IS COMING BACK TOMORROW, BJ IS APOLOGIZING...IT WAS ALL A JOKE. DO YOU CARE?  WE DON'T CARE ANY MORE THAN WE DIDN'T YESTERDAY...

We've been hearing a whole bunch today from outraged readers about how BJ Shea (KISW m-f, 5-10a) on his first morning on KISW fired his stoner sidekick and lovable fuck-up Double R right there on the air in front of everybody, bringing in some guy named Steve to take over..

That's pretty cold, but it all may be a stunt to kick the show off with a controversial start, but even that possibility is being knocked by some of the guys who wrote to us. "My response to them," wrote Greg, "will be 'fuck you,' for having no respect for us listeners."

Stay tuned. Or not.

I can't believe people were falling for this. It just screams radio prank.....but to pull something this LAME on your first show? Morning Zoo anyone?

Lets just hope this wasn't Steve the producer's idea......that could have been a terrible hire.

Man..... can't wait unitl Next Monday. those guys will not get the same demographic listening as did the Stern show!!
