There were 1863 people at the SAVE PRELL rally! I was there and counted every one of them. Allan ran out of cookies at 869 but suggested everyone share their 2-packs. What else does one need to know about Allan ....KIRO blew it!

We'll be hearing him soon .... long live Allan.

josh

I so wish that I could have been there. I grew slowly to be an avid fan of the Allan Prell Show. I remember the first time I heard him on the radio. He played this crazy song over and over. I thought some guy had taken over the studio by force. I actually pulled over into a parking lot and listened to his show for twenty minutes just to figure out what was going on. I was so proud that KIRO was putting on a worldly man that could make us think and laugh at the same time. He is not afraid of speaking the truth about issues. I actually think he is being sensored, fired for his opinions. His movement was just begining here and that is the reason why so many people are rallying behind allan. He was a little like a radio ghandi to me. He made no sense at first. He irritated me and challanged my radio world. I didnt trust him and thought there was no way he could win. Then I realized he spoke the truth and his way was exactly what I needed in my radio host. I no longer listen to KIRO.

I am so angry that Kiro got rid of Prell...his humor was so creative and I don't think I have ever laughed out loud listening to a radio program as I did with his. Remember the time he had the woman going about the voting irregularities..she was going to commit fraud just for him....he is great..the new guys are dorks and boring compared to him....

Ruth Wilson

I encourage everyone to contact the sponsors of the kiroAM show that Prell was fired from and say you will boycott their products

David Williams

Ummm, I think the problem was the advertisers who wouldn't advertise, not the ones who did.

John Babarovich II

Anyone who believes that the death knell of KIRO is preceded by the firing of Prell is, well, Mike Webb. Or Erin Hart. Either one, they are both the same, they both dig guys.

As for Monson, the more hate mail sent in shows that there is prolly as much or more good support for Monson. Sure, the ads get a little repetative, but a good Gutter Helmet testimonial every once in a while is good for a laugh. Was wonder when the feminine hygeine ads will come and what kind of free stuff his family will get then.

Elizabeth

The answer is: put Prell on the afternoon, 3 PM drive time, put Dave back in the morning, and bring the dogcatcher in for Dori.

Frank

I didn't always have time to listen to the morning show but I did enjoy Allen's humor. I think he was a nice change from all the seriousness of most talk radio. Allen's humor reminded me of Martin Short as Jiminy Glick (and I love Martin Short).

I'm sorry that the ad salesman couldn't sell ad's for the morning show. I am a salesman and I could have sold ads for Allen. Maybe he needs to shake up his sales staff a bit ("coffee is for closers Dennis")?
I will miss you Allen...and as for Dennis...I hope he will miss me.
