Don't come cryin' to us
if you didn't have a car
and you missed the boat
the train never came
and your ship's never come in
the bus already left and
you didn't have bus fare
anyhow.
Don't come cryin' to us
if you didn't have
the pluck to be white,
the foresight to be rich
the common sense
not to be old or
too young
or too sick.
Don't come cryin' to us
if you're too lazy
to have food to eat
or the brains
to have a week's water
in your back pocket
or your ducks lined up
for a vacation at the shore.
Don't come cryin' to us
if you're only 5 feet tall
and the water is 6 feet deep
and you can't swim
and you don't have a gun
and you're too liberal
to use it
anyway.
Don't come cryin' to us
if there are bullets
in your head
or your face is all bloated
and your stomach is
full of water
and a rat's eating
your baby.
Don't come cryin' to us p>
Nice to see that after these many days, you're still putting out as much hot air at the hurricane did.

You know, maybe Lump's got a point. One aspect of the hurricane story that's gone completely unreported by the MSM is the fact that under Michael Brown's watch, NO ARABIAN HORSES were killed by the storm.
Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job!

Trip sez "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job!" Not to mention the esteemed mayor of New Orleans and the distinguished governor of Loosieanna have been steller in their jobs.

The city of New Orleans didn't do themselves any favors prior to the disaster. I'd say the evacuation plan was geared to those that had the means to get out. They did a good job of keeping all the buses parked.
ALSO: The city of New Orleans, county and state have some responsibility for a city located below seal level. If it is unmanageable, then one must consider leaving.
