Air America's got a new website that works!

After all it's been through: Evan Cohen, bankruptcy, and Randi Rhodes, there seems to be a stability there now. The network/syndicator keeps putting one foot in front of the other.

finally last week relaunched their website that looks great, and works too- both attributes missing from their old site.

~~ Live & yokel. Fascinating man, Frank Shiers (KIROFM m-f,7-11p). That's why he gets the press he gets... in Bremerton. In a great piece with great pictures, his hometown paper, The Kitsap Sun, gives us the lowdown on the Frank, who may be Too Ugly To Die (TUTD). We especially liked it because Steven Gardner thoughtfully included a couple of nasty comments of ours about Frank. If you read the whole thing you'll find out that Frank was disappointment to his father too.

Carrie prejean: hottest dish on the christian hot dish circuit

Carrie Prejean has a chance of getting another 15 minutes, and her choice to become a charm in the bracelet of the religious right is a good one.

She's the Miss California who took the opportunity to Christian-witness her fundamentalist opposition to gay marriage in the Miss USA Pageant. Losing the contest, she blamed it on discrimination against her brave Christian witness, which caused kind of stink cables and talk radio live on, and they responded with lots of her puling to drooling interviewers like Sean Hannity.

Mount vernon gets ready for glenn beck

"I'm afraid," Glenn Beck is fond of saying, 'You should be afraid too."

Mount Vernon mayor Bud Norris is a little afraid, according to at least one civic leader in his town.

Norris last month decided he could cover himself and his little town in glory by giving the keys to the city on September 26, to the most radioactive scurrilizer in America, Glenn Beck (KTTH m-f, 6-9a).
