Brian jennings' talk radio book is less than some of its parts

 It's an inconsequential book. There's no new information, and it neither asks new questions; nor anything of its readers. (Plus, there are no pictures,  always a disappointment in a geezerly book about radio).

It's Censorship, The Threat to Silence Talk Radio by Brian Jennings and we waited until we could get it new at Amazon for $5.52. (Advice: don't pay retail for this dog!)

Can right-wing talk inspire another beer-gut revolution?

Taking a moment from wall-to-wall coverage of the Octomom, Sean Hannity's website has a poll:

What kind of revolution appeals most to you? The Hannitized ditto-heads are voting, and so far, 22.22% favor a Military Coup; 35.56% are for a War for Secession; but 42.22% are for good ol' Armed Rebellion.

Is this another go at mainstreaming the far, far right with an uprising of the militia windbags, the exurban goons w/guns, those beer-gut revolutionaries with the mail-order long guns converted to fully-auto?

Don't laugh it's happened before, and not that long ago ... as the crow's feet fly.

Floyd brown says he'll stop toilet fishing

This in a New York Times piece Saturday, "Ready to Attack Obama, if Some Money Arrives" by Michael Luo. 

Brown's plight, according to the story, is that the shit's in the pipe and ready to go, but he doesn't have the dough to get it on the air.

But now he's telling World Net Daily, "I will cease 527 activities if Obama accepts public financing."

"Sen. Obama's spokesperson Robert Gibbs said the only reason they won't limit themselves to public financing is because of my TV ads. I will agree to immediately cease all 527 activities if Obama will live up to his earlier commitments to accept public financing,"

We wouldn't counsel the Obama campaign to begin any anticipatory breath-holding activities.

Barack brings a gun

"If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Barack Obama said last week and we were thrilled.

He showed huevos John Kerry never showed in the catastrophic 2004 election -- a lack of display that proved fatal to his chances.

Obama says he'll stand up to the nasty mudhoney being flung at him by a Republican Party hard put to find much else to throw at him.

We know Floyd Brown in Seattle,

He's not only making national riplets with his latest anti-smear ads against Barack Obama, but he's regularly on local KVI ("Thee talk station") as a fill-in on Kirby & Co.,(m-f, 5-9a).

This man's name is a dirty word. How in god's name does someone with his national notoriety ever pass the PR stink test at Fisher Communications? Do they even have one?  Do they know who he is, and what he's done?
