This recording was made by me as a listener, which is why the first minute or so is missing. The week George died, I heard Dave on the air recalling this interview and saying he couldn't find it. I found my cassette copy and sent this 25-minute file to Dave (or, more likely, his producer Libby Denkmann), and the next day he played excerpts. It was great to have an opportunity to correspond with Dave and help fill this gap.
