Actually, he was 4 years too late. As seen on PBS' Frontline back in 2008. From the PBS archives:
"But there’s nothing new about the clip or Obama’s role in the controversy at Harvard Law School. In 2008, as a part of our quadrennial election special The Choice 2008, FRONTLINE ran the same footage of the speech as a part of an exploration of Obama’s time at Harvard Law School, where he graduated in 1991. It’s been online at our site and on YouTube since then."
WC

It's so pathetic watching these guys try to pull the same crap they unsuccessfully tried to pull in 2008. Yawn.

The serious mischaracterization of Critical Race Theory leads me to believe the Whingnutz are headed for Bell’s “Rules Of Racial Standing”. The Rules Of Racial Standing are a hardcore bit of truth which can be difficult for some to take and others can easily distort.

But, did they cut the scene of Obama hugging a black man? According to Sean Hannity, that is the key!
Posted by: JDB | March 09, 2012 at 10:30 AM
On the progressive radio beat, Thom Hartmann is switching to live Noon-3 p.m. PST on Monday.
No word from KPTK but I assume they would switch Ed Shultz to 9-noon PST since that is when his broadcast would be live.
Toma is not saying why he is doing it but I assume it is so Thom and Ed are not competing directly. They are the two progressive radio all stars.
I can't imagine Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity would broadcast live at the same time.

look, the tape shown looks fairly innocuous to me but i would caution those from the institutional left to be careful on the crowing.
brietbart made you all eat a few good shit sandwiches in his day and not to be so ready to proclaim it over.
to be clear, I have no claim to make that anything more will come but just be cautious a bit before declaring victory.
Posted by: Puget Sound Blathers | March 09, 2012 at 11:38 AM
of course, John Stewart does a nice turn with his revealing tape on Sean Hannity's 'past'
here

There is no victory to be claimed. The ultra-right is in the process of mischaracterizing Bell’s legacy in hopes of smearing Obama. Whether they succeed or not is based solely on where you stood before the lies begun.
Posted by: Finis Hominis | March 09, 2012 at 12:11 PM
i think the john stewart clip puts it all in perspective by deftly using parody and sarcasm to make his point.
pretty damn funny.

Breaking News; Breitbart’s feud with Drudge goes public. Via John Ziegler.

Ok, Cenk wins tonight!
Posted by: Mary | March 09, 2012 at 06:00 PM
This one seemed innocuous. There are more to come but you won't know what hit until it does. Stay tuned.
Posted by: KS | March 09, 2012 at 10:40 PM
sounds like what a fart is
Posted by: Gusto | March 09, 2012 at 10:46 PM
John Ziegler is a bit too conspiratorial for me and has been wrong on at least several occasions.
There is already more than enough ammo to indict Obama, for God sakes. If what there is out there doesn't, we might as well be a satellite of Russia.
Posted by: KS | March 09, 2012 at 11:07 PM
ks
i agree 100 percent.
i think that's what the brilliance was of john stewart's point. now it is time to work off of 'performance' and not resume. the other ones who are wanting to be president will have to run on resume, etc. pres obama gets to run on performance.

just a bit off topic, but comedian stephen bridges who did a wonderful george bush imitation. probably one of the funniest was the time at the white house correspondents dinner.
very funny.

Steve Brridges - a very good impersonator of both Bush and Clinton and funny !. RIP - heard of his passing this week.

The ReverEnd WRIGHT DISGRACE...... Obama is seen in an old video endorsing a black racist professor , who is another clown talking about them old "white folks" and making HATEFUL, unfair broad brush smears toward them........ Attorney General Holder uses "ain't( Ebonics lite) while speaking before a Congressional committee , showing deliberate disrespect for whitey....... Each one of these incidents, AND THERE ARE MANY, MANY MORE IN A SMILAR VEIN, could be viewed as bricks, perhaps, with the excwption of Rev. Wright, not tremendoudly big things by themselves, but togther they construct a wall between the Obama admin. and those "white folks", particularly white males. Snob-in-chief Obama's divisiveness will be a key factor in his defeat this November.
Posted by: Tommy008 | March 11, 2012 at 12:27 AM
Tommy is absolutely spot on. Look at this evidence of Obama participating in a strike. The white guys with him are probably UAW thugs.

Not only that, there is video of him nuzzling the neck of a married woman and hanging out with two underage girls. Plenty out there to sink his ship, yabetcha!

As I stated before,
The ultra-right is in the process of mischaracterizing Bell’s legacy in hopes of smearing Obama. Whether they succeed or not is based solely on where you stood before the lies begun.
Posted by: Finis Hominis | March 12, 2012 at 02:04 PM
The ultra left - Mr Bell's brethren will deny it up and down. That is when the lies will actually begin - Soledad O'Brien on CNN already gave the denial thing a shot and looked shrill and pathetic. He made his choice to deceive the public and the dye has been cast. Obama should realize that he has a good deal of blood (from associating with extremists on the left and unsavory types) on his hands and if he thinks he can skate, he has a weak and deluded self-perception, besides being a weak leader (but a good community organizer).
Mark these words; NBC, ABC and CBS will do their level headed best to keep this hidden and MSNBC will heavily edit to distort the truth and CNN will also edit out the relevant stuff to a lesser extent. An ugly scenario that will have to play itself out.

Do tell, KS…
When all is said and done, we will remember… you were the canary in the coal mine.

The problem with "The Institutional Left" is the cafeteria food.
The person who used the term "Institutional Left" is quite the pretentious little dingleberry.
"The Institutional Left" ???? Come on.
Posted by: Lunch Lady | March 13, 2012 at 01:37 PM
Much of the left should be institutionalized -lmao. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how the media midgets will react to this, Finis.
Posted by: KS | March 13, 2012 at 07:11 PM
We have the current crop of GOP candidates to indicate if the 'left' should be "institutionalized"
Posted by: Coiler | March 13, 2012 at 07:16 PM
Keep what hidden, KS? What is the striking secret? And how, pray tell, do they keep this undisclosed? After all, you know about it, share the knowledge.
Posted by: Finis Hominis | March 13, 2012 at 08:06 PM
You're barking up the wrong tree - Not keeping anything hidden, but if want to make it a guessing game, go for it - My comment merely addressed the topic. I'll repeat it;
"Mark these words; NBC, ABC and CBS will do their level headed best to keep this hidden and MSNBC will heavily edit to distort the truth and CNN will also edit out the relevant stuff to a lesser extent. An ugly scenario that will have to play itself out."
(this being the documented radical associations of Borat Obama) - seems to have rubbed off pretty damn good.

Again, keep what hidden? Is this hyperbola or do you have something in mind?
Posted by: Finis Hominis | March 13, 2012 at 08:45 PM
ks cant make a comment without using an ad hominem. I think he can't help himself.
Posted by: Walt | March 13, 2012 at 09:13 PM
I understand Walt .Due to his constant posts; I thought he was an intellectual heavyweight. But I guess I was wrong.
Posted by: Finis Hominis | March 13, 2012 at 09:17 PM
Bell castigated blacks and others who attacked Farakhan for his vcious anti-semitic speeches and writings, saying that Farakhan's comments were understandable because of what Jews had done to blacks over the years. At the very end of his commenst he made a mild rebuke to Farrakhan for being anti-semitic. very mild. Also, he publiocly said his official role in life was to be a "harrasser" of whitey. But the most despicable thing he said was to claim that any and all all white people whowre in favor of or had worked to gain civil rights for blacks only did so out of self-interest because they would personally gain somehting for themselves out of it, thus smearing and defiling the memory of people such as Andrew Goodman and Violetts Liuzzo, white Americans killed by the klan or other white racists during their civil rights work in the deep South in the sixties.Disgusting comments. Absolutely a black racist and a hater. Now bring on the usual lib clowns.

Keeping what hidden ? Obama's radical ties - DUH..
Are you incapable of reading my responses and connecting the dots ? Walt - is casting doubt on a leftist always ad hominem, but when it comes to conservatives - its vetting ? Your double standards smell like dog crap.
Posted by: KS | March 14, 2012 at 06:57 PM
Come on KS, you said the media was keeping something hidden. Now you declare it is Obama’s radical ties. So I ask what radical ties are the media keeping hidden?

Posted by: Finis Hominis | March 14, 2012 at 09:36 PM
I have noticed this
Posted by: Preston | March 14, 2012 at 10:35 PM
Basically, Bell, with his comments about whites and the civil rights movement,( see my long post about Bell several comments ago), fits right in with Farrakhan and the Black Muslims, who believe that whites are devils.Clearly a Farrakhsn sympathizer. Mr. F is such an obvious, sickening racist and Jew-hater. Did you see his speech at Berkeley last week, where he was talking about Asians and ridiculed them by speaking his racist cartoon version of a Chinese -sounding name? What a disgusting, hate-filled poo of a "man".
Posted by: Tommy008 | March 15, 2012 at 05:53 AM
you should pay more attention to your hedge funds and derivatives which do more to harm to our inner cities,
Posted by: Preston | March 15, 2012 at 02:20 PM
I have an investment fund, not a "hedge fund". I don't short stocks. i invest. I don't deal with "derivatives". Next?
Posted by: Tommy008 | March 15, 2012 at 03:18 PM
you put derivatives in quotations so one would have to think its not all kosher. you sound like jaime diamond
