And what does that say about his listeners? There's always a sleazebag around but the people that follow him? Must be sleazebags, too.

Kind of like the people that follow Glenn Beck.

"ARE YOU IN"

Well, i was expecting something different. But its perfect. Its so simple. So easy to say. So easy to repeat. So easy to get a crowd of hundreds riled up in a chanting frenzy and shout it out in unison.

"ARE YOU IN" for more high unemployment rates.

"ARE YOU IN" for more WARs

"ARE YOU IN" for higher gas prices.

"ARE YOU IN" for bigger deficits.

"ARE YOU IN" for more imcompetence.

"ARE YOU IN" for higher food prices.

"ARE YOU IN" for less freedoms.

"ARE YOU IN" for less leadership.

"ARE YOU IN" for higher FOX News ratings.

"ARE YOU IN" for more Obama golf outings as our troops are dying overseas.

ARE YOU IN ARE YOU IN ARE YOU IN ARE YOU IN ARE YOU IN see how easy it rolls off the tongue. Joanie is going to have a hard time keeping her promise with 19 months of this ARE YOU IN blaring over the radio and posted all over those websites she gets her so called news from.

Andrew

You could have chanted all the same things at a McCain rally in 2008, so the idea that Republicans will be a clear "alternative" is a pipe dream. And most people realize that the mess described therein existed beforehand, the shitty economy brought by way of Bush's Wall Street, Bush's wars, etc. You can't give Bush eight years to fuck everything up and then expect someone else to clean it up in four. Undecided and swing voters will all agree with me.

Back to the topic of this thread...
if what he said about Mexico wasn't enough to boot him off the air, then I seriously doubt this will.

ProgBlogJunky

Thats not what im saying at all Andrew. Im saying Obama won already. Sure he will not get my vote as i will not fall for these simple slogans again. But there are many thousands more like you and Joanie who will.

ProgBlogJunky

Im not so sure about that Sparky. If you read the linked story it looks like WTKK is looking for a way to get rid of him. I wouldnt be surprised if he is gone by the end of spring.

ProgBlogJunky

You know i always thought Obamas logo was the Sun rising over the US flag. Now that he has been President for over two years i see it more like a tee shot over rivers of American soldiers blood.
OBama 2012

Back to the topic...perhaps they are.
But it seems odd to me that the Mexico comment didn't do it, but the threat of lawsuits might make it happen.. That says a lot about the values of the management.

ProgBlogJunky

Sparky, the way i see it, its no different than one of your co-workers taping a students mouth shut and then bragging about in the lounge. They dont get fired on the spot do they. They are suspended. Suspended until an investigation is thouroghly done. What does that say about the schools management values? Or for that matter the unions values.

sparky

None of my co-workers have ever done that. Nor have I. And "bragging about it in the teacher's lounge" is not a valid comparison to saying something on live radio. An investigation of innuendo is different than having the words on tape.

ProgBlogJunky

Not a valid comparison? Really. You mean to tell me you wouldnt be shocked if you overheard one of your co-workers say they did that to one of thier students because they wouldnt shut up. I wouldnt only find it shocking, i would report.

ProgBlogJunky

Obama is closing in on another milestone in Afghanistan. 1500 soldiers deaths. Since Obama has been the CINC more than 850 American lives have been lost in Afghanistan. Thats over 60% of the lives lost. In comparison, under the Shrub America lost 569 good men in 7 years. Under Obama, America lost 858 fine young men in just over two years. ARE YOU IN for another 4 years of incompetence?

Coiler

The GOP's biggest names are mainly competing to offer excuses for why they aren't running in 2012

sparky

I would be shocked if you stayed on topic.

NPR Sucks

Wow, a guy who porks hot young college girls, how awful. It's the left that pushes the hyper-sexualized culture and then is outraged when people act sexually.

John

Looks like the "suspension" is now a "termination", according to the Northeast Radio Watch. Posted on Facebook:

"Severin's hiatus from WTKK becomes permanent, with Greater Media saying he's "unwilling or unable to maintain our standards on the air." Michael Bower to host 3-6 at least as a long-term fill-in."

sparky

Standards?

Speaking of awesome news.....a personal protest of the removing of the labor mural in Maine.
