In a new CBS/Vanity Fair poll, Rush Limbaugh easily topped Glenn Beck as the most influential conservative in America. (Though it's disgusting to think of topping or bottoming in this context).
Dick Cheney came in third; Sarah Palin next, Sean Hannity fourth, and then some guy named John Boehner who topped nobody.
None Of The Above topped everyone but Rush.
This may bolster Rush and Glennn's fat socks, but Republicans have some work to do to convince voters their politicians are more effective than these deejays.
With all this topping going on, Billo Reilly was excluded. And him still stinging from the indignity of being topped by Sean Hannity as the top cable news telecast of last week. Hannity's Wednesday interview of Sarah Palin averaged 4.200 million total viewers, enough to get himself into the top ten telecasts in all of cable last week.

I think they all should be put on a small uninhabitied island in Puget Sound with a target painted on their BACK and each issued a dagger. Then come back the next day and crusify the survivor to insure they have their place in heaven. Dori could referee, but dont let him on the boat when you leave.

DORI did a superb job of anchoring the Sunday coverage on KIRO of the four slain police officers. Frank Shiers was also excellent, as was the full force coverage of KIRO. BLAM, maybe you're under the weather or otherwise busy, but a post about the local radio coverage of this tragedy would be expected, and would allow Blatherwatch readers to post their feelings and thoughts. As far as who is what in some poll about Republicans, it all seems very unimportant in the light of this horrific event.

Sean is prettier...
Wild Bill, how much blame did Dori shovel Huckabee's way? And how many hours do you think one needs to revel in A local tragedy?
What made their coverage so worthy?

Actually, for those who listened, Dori, coming over from The Seahawks side, stayed straight news, and lsitened to the listeners. Dori did not politicize the breaking news story AT ALL. Dori's coverage was excellent, as was Gregg Hersholt, Heather Bosch, and many others. There was no revelry whatsoever, but of course, I was actually listening.
