We're embarrassed we didn't find out about this sooner. Remember Dan Sytman, "Producer of the Mike's" (Siegel and Medved) and talent on KTTH 's ill-fated Sytman & Boze?
Last September Sytman was hired as Republican Attorney General Rob McKenna's Media Relations Manager.
Dan was nicer in person than he was on the radio: we liked him.
Congratulations, Dan -- glad to see you in some honorable work in the public sector...

Dan S. was the liberal wing of Sytman & Bose, so it is no surprise that he would join the ranks of former media workers who take a gig working for gov't, which they previously were supposed to critically cover.
It's a long list, with people like Robert Mak, David Postman, Casey Corr(Times), Alex Fryer(Times, Lee Somerstein(KIRO) etc. David Ammons went to work for Sam Reed too, so this makes two local R's and probably at least 10 Dems. More to come after March 10 (PI finale).
How are we going to get unvarnished reporting, when they all know that their next job is likely to come from one of the politicians they cover?

Don't put sytman in the same professional class as Robert Mak, David Postman, Casey Corr Alex Fryer, Lee Somerstein David Ammons. He was a peckerwood, flackery is a good place for him.

true, sytman probably has more integrity on his worst day than the rest of those guys combined on their best day.
Nothing wrong with being a peckerwood, either.

Sytman was given the upbringing of a priviledged pampered little snot in a wealthy Seattle enclave of "superior" folks. It showed on the radio, or when you had the misfortune of calling into a show where he was call screener- and ruined him for anything but The Mercer Island Report, on a local station.

hey Tommy008: What do you mean by "Superior Folks"? Why don't you just come out and say it...

You're right, mylklebe, Tommy means "Jews." He's subtle, indulges in the gentle bigotry of the adoration of himself.
