Former KIRO talk host David Goldstein, and local blogger/activist will appear on The O'Reilly Factor, Fox News, 5 and 8p) representing heretical, secular Washingtonians in a piece on the War on Xmas.

Billo sees the sign, says Goldy, "...as part of a pattern of secular decadence that includes Death With Dignity, naked bicycle riding, and the Fremont statue of Lenin."
We knew we'd be getting famous with the provocative atheist sign mounted at the Capitol.
Porter Barry, one of Billo's notorious paid stalkers called Dan Savage who turned it down and recommended Goldy.
Goldy sighs a little, and says the sign "went a little too far.," but agrees that the atheists have a perfect right to equal representation: "No one religion is more ridiculous than another," he says.

anychance we get to see Goldy wearing
some 'Factor Gear'?

We can't usually abide by O'Rellly at our house, but we'll be watching tonight, David. Have fun.

Goldy, you rock. You had Billo harumphing in less than a minute. It was hilarious, especially when the lawyer Billo brought in to help defend his War on Christmas, ended up saying it was probably just better on the West Coast to consider it a freedom of speech matter and let it go.
hah!

Bill O's lawyer is probably spot on - to those on the east coast, it would appear like the inmates are running the asylum.
The economy is a more important news item anyhow. Should we really bail out GM and Ford to the tune of $25B even if they have a so-so business plan. The bleeding heart left (Pelosi and Reid) want to - they don't mind giving our money away. Makes me want to hurl.

To finish my thought;
"Bill O's lawyer is probably spot on - to those on the east coast, it would appear like the inmates are running the asylum out here on the west coast."

Congrats, Bryan Suits ! There is a growing gap in talk radio up here and not really a compelling voice of the topics we really want to talk about - Tom Leykis notwithstanding (TBTL may be warm and fuzzy, but not relevant) in the 7-10PM slot. KKOL has switched from all conservative talk to all business - a sign of the times.
KVI owes you a mea culpa to begin with. Dr. Laura did not work for them (Dennis Miller replacing her in Feb. '09) and Carlson/Schram moved over to KOMO leaving Kirby as the only local in the wilderness.

GG or whoever the fuck you are, you are really getting boring and repetitive. Add irrelevant, off-topic, obnoxious, and the multiple personalities, you're getting extraneous.
Is it just me or does this have a charming, Grandpa Simpson-esque quality to it? "Dagdubit you whipersnapper, get offa my lawn before I get the garden hose on yer!" (only kidding)

errr ... wrong thread, disregard above ...

David looks really good in the picture in this thread. I can tell he's lost weight and, visually, he acquits himself nicely. He has a pleasant half-profile which we'd never seen before but is now coming out.
He didn't say much in his O'Reilly appearance, but what he did say I think I agreed with.
Excellent job!
