Carmen Miranda of the north...

The Carmen Miranda of the north has the right to remain silent and she should. If she cannot afford a lawyer (or her financial institutions need a bailout) one will be provided... at government expense.
Even her Fargo-esque accent is spot on in this video.

Sparky
That will be found to be a baseless witch hunt. No merit to the charges. Just political posturing by enemies.
But the Sarah video is funny on its own. The gal who played Palin could use a little botox.

Tina Fey is at least talented; this chick wishes she was a Sarah Palin...in her dreams. This clip sucks...at best. Folks, it's over; don't you get it...why still focused on Gov Palin. Even Karl Rove is giving it to Obama and the Klown, haven't you heard.

I wonder about the timing for Palin's attacks of today. Which came first; Biden announcing he is not campaigning until Tuesday (due to death in family) or the attacks on Obama? Just curious.

chucks, huh? Before this I havent posted anything to this thread.
Nice shot of the Lion's Gate Bridge coming out of Stanley Park..
I wonder just how many women are out there who look just like Palin...
Poor Duffman, sounds like you are going to be in Political Purgatory for the next few years.....

I just found out that the attorney hired to defend the AG of Alaska went to my high school!

Mrs. Biden's mother died last night..he had called off all scheduled appearances for a few days anyway...
Frankly, I dont think it would have mattered. She didnt even acknowledge his reference during the debat, about his son who almost died in the accident that killed his wife and daughter. She was busy checking her notes and didnt listen to him. She is on a carefully controlled auto-pilot, making her scheduled comments from her undisclosed location. Im guessing she would have made the comment regardless.

'Poor Duffman, sounds like you are going to be in Political Purgatory for the next few years.....'
On the contrary, I will be excited to watch what a Democratic administration, along with a compatible Congress can get done. Should be quite a bit, wouldn't you say? I look forward to our getting the heck out of Iraq and focusing on a victory in Afghan. and capturing OBL. Don't you? And, of course I will be counting on POTUS Obama to keep this Country as safe as it has been since 9/11...aren't you. These should be some very interesting times comin up, don't you think. Ah yes...it will be very, very interesting. Stay tuned! Haha

Oh, and Sparky remember the ancient proverb 'Talk does not cook rice.' does it?

hell, he could start by reigning in the TSA. As a pilot I find these dog-n-pony show searches exasperating at best.

"That will be found to be a baseless witch hunt." Yeah, Chux, wazzup with that....early Halloween?
Sparkler, weren't you home schooled during your high school years?

Nope!
Well, to be fair, both my parents taught at my school, so I guess technically that could qualify. But it would give me 1800 brothers and sisters!

Golly,,,today Obama released a video about McCains' experience as one of the Keating Five.
McCain's response?
The Keating Five Investigation was "a political smear job on John [McCain]."
Except that in his book Worth Fighting For:
"I made the worst mistake of my life by attending two meetings, the first with the chairman of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, the government agency charged with regulating the practices of the nation’s savings and loans, and a week later with four bank examiners based in San Francisco who were at that time investigating the investment and lending practices of Lincoln Savings and Loan of Irvine, California, owned by my good friend and generous supporter Charles Keating."
And just last year he said:
"I was judged eventually, after three years, of using, quote, poor judgment, and I agree with that assessment. "

"After Hannity listed more potential reasons to make Wright an issue, McCain drew a deep breath and decided not to go there. "I do know Sen. Obama, he does not share those views."
In April, after the North Carolina Republican Party uncorked an attack ad linking Obama and Wright in April, McCain asked that they put it back in the box. While candidates often distance themselves from the tougher party-issued ads, McCain went further than that. As the Associated Press reported at the time:
"We asked them not to run it," McCain told reporters on his campaign bus in Kentucky Wednesday. "I'm sending them an e-mail as we speak asking them to take it down.
"I don't know why they do it. Obviously, I don't control them, but I'm making it very clear, as I have a couple of times in the past, that there's no place for that kind of campaigning, and the American people don't want it," McCain said.
McCain said the ad was described to him: "I didn't see it, and I hope that I don't see it."
McSame can't be trusted to keep his word
