I don't think Faux's attempts at trashing Michelle Obama will be very effective and they will probably cease and desist in short order. I do think that Sen Obama must be careful however in how he allows (or doesn't allow) his children to be used in this campaign. I note recent interviews with his girls when in fact he was previously adamant about them not being spotlited. I did hear him say this morning that 'it won't happen again' and I thing that is wise.

Thanks for posting. Apparently, Obama's the perfect candidate so attack Michelle for being a proud and "mean" woman.
I think it is time for some Michelle "meanness" to clean up after Bush's "compassionate conservatism."
I'm still giggling.

Any news on that "Whitey" tape?
Posted by: nevets | July 10, 2008 at 09:59 AM
Bla'M's is a rhetorical question, of course...Pox's audience will lap up any juice to season their preformed toxic viewpoints. I've gotta hand it to Pox, however, for capturing Jesse Jackson's live-mic remarks about cutting off Obama's nuts. CNN's Blitzer said the language was "so crude", the network couldn't air it. What prudish hypocrisy! If the remark had been about Hillary's anatomy, no male anchor would have hesitated to loop it. But, Pox scooped that one!

There is no Whitey tape.

Actually it was Drudge; good try.

Yes, a fist bump to you, Bla'M, for finding this piece.

Did you have to tell him, Sparky? I was hoping he'd keep hoping...

Oh Steven, I was just pulling your leg. There is a wicked video out there, and they are waiting for just the right moment to release it.
Howz that?

sparky
There really is a wicked Michelle video out there.
Hillary is holding it as extortion to make sure Obambam gets her $ raised and back in her bank account.
Why do you think he is trying to get her back in the black? Sheesh.

nah its the work of someone who read a Stephen Frey book called "The Power Brokers" written in 2006. Most likely suspect is Larry Johnson, a republican, former CIA agent who worked with Valarie Plame. This was all revealed in April or May.
Here is an excerpt from the book:
'Hewitt thought for a second. “I’m going to let Jesse win the nomination and let the public get used to him as the Democratic candidate. Give the country some time to get to know Jesse Wood, to start to like him. And they will because he’s a very likeable guy. Then I’m going to drop the bomb, after everyone’s started to like him. That way the clip will have maximum effect and people will be as angry as they can be. Whites and blacks. Whites for the obvious reason, blacks because they’ll feel like he let ‘em down.”
Instead of Barack making the comments, Michelle's name was used.
They have video of her sitting next to Mrs. Farrahkan at a luncheon. From there, they attempted to turn it into something "explosive."
Now, I would not put it past Hillary to have something up her sleeve to get some of her money back, and have Obama "help" her, but the threat of a video isn't it.

Thanks for reurrecting the exemplary Stephen Frey, Sparkly...he'and Stephen Glass are American icons.
Obama almost reneged on his agreement to request donations for HC's debt during a pricey speech at the Grand Hyatt, NY. Oops! Was his Freudian slip showing?

You have to admit the coordinated attack on her is done very well, with all of the same vile buzz words being used , by all of the right wing trolls from the darken image in RED , while Hannity says bitter and O'Reilly's saying verbally lynching her is ok , if "that's the way she really is ".
Of course this non stop drum beat from Faux News attacking her and her husband will have a Negative effective , because the other networks are regurgitating the same attacks and using the same old crap line, " some people say " blah blah.
Don't ever underestimate the power of the right wing in the media and the fact this vicious attack is even allowed, shows they only do it because THEY CAN .
It's all about framing the issue and when these phony little lapdogs for the right get to repeat their slanderous accusations , over and over and over , it will not help the Obamas at all .

C'mon Kahoneez, you think these guys are amateurs and this is the first time they've done it?
That's precisely why it shouldn't work as well this time. People are catching on to the smear machine, the coordinated talking points and the lies.
Least I hope they are. How dumb can dumb be? (Speaking of the body politic, of course.)
