Clown prince Jesse Ventura has been giving the Al Franken campaign a migraine by threatening to run in the Minnesota race where Franken is trailing incumbent Norm Coleman.
But today, Ventura with the help of Divine Default, did not make the filing deadline.
As recently as last Friday, the tedious, self-promoting windbag and former radio talk host, pro-wrestler and Minnesota governor was telling NPR that he'd run against incumbent Norm Coleman mostly because of Coleman’s support for the Iraq war.
He's been coy about it for a couple of months and it's bought him another few minutes fame as cable news gave him time as a desperation filler for their gaping newsholes.
Is it a coincidence that his new book Don’t Start the Revolution Without Me was recently released?
But last night, Ventura told Larry King that a tap on the shoulder by God, and a convincing argument by Himself would be the only things that could change his mind not to run.
God did not intervene and the 5p deadline went by without a Ventura filing.
(Jesse, BTW, self-describes as an atheist).

looks like the Minnesoata Senatorial race ain't drawing much in the Queen City. Jesse Ventura? Al Franken? Yawn, urp
