Melanie morgan R.I.P 1994-2008

A fixture on San Fransisco talker KSFO for 14 years, radical, blonde, harpy Melanie Morgan was canned Monday. She was the embarrassing blabbermistress whose bombastic career was built upon on saying any any damn thing to get media attention.

The strategy couldn't save her job Monday. Morgan, 51, delivered her final broadcast today after 14 years at the microphone. KSFO owner Citadel Broadcasting decided not to renew her contract as part of the company’s announced across-the-board cost cutting.

She chairs the Move America Forward, the group who tries to shame and boycott Berkeley for its anti-U.S. Marine Corps recruiting stand.

The "Lee Rodgers & Melanie Morgan Show" is now called The "Lee Rodgers Program."

Morgan is not retiring or anything, she'll continue her weekly column for the right-wing website WorldNetDaily and her avocation horrifying small children by biting the heads off their pets; or eating living things for tourists for small change in Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf.

Among Morgan’s memorable moments:
Of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, she said, “We’ve got a bull’s-eye painted on her big, wide laughing eyes.“
Of New York Times editor Bill Keller, after the Times published a story on U.S. government tracking of terrorist funding, she said,“If he were to be tried and convicted of treason, yes, I would have no problem with him being sent to the gas chamber.“
Of billionaire financier and political contributor George Soros, after her co-host said Soros had “cheerfully and willingly went to work for the Nazis,” she said he’d done so “in order to further his own career.“

Then there was the shocking Spocko's Brain affair.

Morgan is married to Jack Swanson, a senior manager of KSFO -- that must have been uncomfortable... She's been twice named, Countdown with Keith Olbermann's "Worst Person in the World."

Morgan was fired briefly in 2005 by ABC who owned the station at the time. She stated, "I cannot help but think they decided to punish me for my continued conservative activism." She was reinstated a day later.

If you reread your own post, you'll find it mostly unintelligble. For example the first sentence has a question mark, but does not appear to be a question. Or if it is, it is one that we both, having read Mr. Hood's post, now know the answer to, so either way it makes no sense. So I won't even try a response.

I worked for Jack once and, I've gotta say, while I expected he was somewhat conservative, I didn't think he'd choose a spouse who was this hyper-conservative. Or hyper-attention-getting conservative. Jack is not a bad guy at all (then again, neither are most conservatives).
