right-wing blogs we like
The Reagan Wing Hearin lies the real heart of Washington State Republicans. Doug Parris runs this red-meat social conservative group site which bars no holds when it comes to saying who they are and who they're not; what they believe and what they don't; who their friends are and where the rest of the Republicans can go. Well-written, and flaming.
Orbusmax inexhaustible Drudgery of NW conservative news
The Radio Equalizer prolific former Seattle KVI, KIRO talk host speaks authoritatively about radio.
Former KIRO talk host Ron Reagan will sit in for Dave (KIRO m-f, 9-12p) Monday and Tuesday. Rumors that Dave is flying a plastic turkey to the boys in Afghanistan are apochryfal. Our questions to you: how do you make plastic stuffing for plastic turkeys? What wine is recommended for plastic Thanksgiving dinners?

I heard that on Dave's podcast on Friday in which he gave Joanie Earl a pretty good grilling over sound transit. Also, he said Goldstein would be filling in Wednesday.
I cant wait to call Ron Reagan Jr on Monday. I've got several cogent questions. I want to know if he thinks dancing in a tutu is a manly activity. I want to know if his mom Nancy can even stomach the sight of stepson Michael Reagan. I want to know if he ever saw his sister Patti naked. I want to know how he became so great at Dog Show commentary. I want to know if he ever met Michael Vick.
I for one am very excited that Ron Reagan is going to be on the air again, however fleetingly. He was a shining beacon of reason in the darkness that is KIRO's afternoon programming.
Major shake up at KTTH. Beck in the morning, Boze in the afternoon and no more Dan Sytman! Come on Mike get with the program, what's going on over there at KTTH?
Ron's interview with the "Jihad Next Door" author is really pretty fascinating.
Best moment: one of the Lakawana six curled up on the floor when his wife showed him the Twin Towers afire, saying "Muslims in America are so screwed..."
Looks like he didn't mean to sign up for the whole program.
Here's RR's problem: He doesn't mix it up. After an hour of talking about suicide rates among veterans, he needs to talk about something lighter. I know he's into backpacking. So why doesn't he do a segment on favorite winter hikes, for example? That's why he's gone. He always did serious topics. Variety is the key to longevity in talk radio.
Well GayRea didnt dissapoint me. He was his usual self blaming everything on the Bush Administration. And him getting Norm Dicks on the Air making a fool of himself was great also, I have to admit. Just my opinion.

how quickly we forget just how whitebread and milquetoast ron reagan is on the radio.
He makes NPR sound like a monster truck rally commercial.
He sounded like a nice enough guy, but he's incapable of stringing together an hour of interesting talk radio.

RR is basically envious of Dori Monson and particularly irked that he was nudged out by the Dorster.
