right-wing blogs we like
The Reagan Wing Hearin lies the real heart of Washington State Republicans. Doug Parris runs this red-meat social conservative group site which bars no holds when it comes to saying who they are and who they're not; what they believe and what they don't; who their friends are and where the rest of the Republicans can go. Well-written, and flaming.
Orbusmax inexhaustible Drudgery of NW conservative news
"Free at last. God almighty, free at last!" were Walt Crowley's inspirational- though written- words after 18 days at Virginia Mason recuperating from cancer of the larynx (voicebox) and a Feb. 9 larynectomy.
Dori Monson (KIRO m-f,1-4p) is a libertarian and a neoconservative; but he gives lip service to arguing issues rationally and unemotionally. After all, it's the liberals- the girly-men and the women who whip them- who live (and govern) by emotion.
Recently, however, Dori popped all his buttons when discussing 45th district State Sen. Eric Oemig and his legislation calling on Congress to impeach President Bush.
We reported erroneously that Deborah Brandt was fired from KUOW. Au contraire: facts are she retired after 30 years in radio, 25 of which were spent getting up at 3a, and doing morning drive. Happy trails, Deborah- now you can sleep in until at least- 5...
Air America's troubles would seem to indicate that. But do the liberal network's failings mean that liberalism was rejected? Or was it the mismanagement by hapless owners not familiar with the business of radio?
We'll go with the latter, because we know- it's not POV that matters- it never has- it's about making radio that attracts and holds listeners.
